Preschoolers
have a set schedule each day. A qualified teacher leads the classes in
circle time, art, music and movement, learning games, recess and social
interactions. There is also a scheduled music class for pre-schoolers each week.
Covenant Presbyterian Preschool has just completed its third
year of caring for the babies and toddlers of high school mothers. Since the church is located next to R. L.
Turner High
School, it is a handy place for the teen mom's to
leave their children; it also has a caring and loving child care staff.
Covenant also does a limited amount of child care/daycare for other families
who need it. This is handled on an individual basis. Please call

The school and child care are licensed by the State of Texas.

NOTE
If you are registering more
than one child in our program there will be a slight reduction in registration
fees. $10.00 will be deducted from Pre-school and $10 from Mother’s Day
Out.
LATE FEE: All tuition
fees are due on the first of the month. There will be a $10.00 late fee
if the tuition is paid after the tenth of month.

Registration for
2008-2009
Registration
for 2008 – 2009 will begin on Monday, February 14, for families whose children
are currently enrolled in Covenant’s programs and for members of the church.
On February 21 registration will be opened to the general public. Please
take advantage of the early timeslot so that you can be assured of the class
you want. We are offering fewer classes and anticipate that they will
fill quickly.
PRE – SCHOOL
A
child must be 3 on or before Sept 1 to be enrolled in pre-school. This is
the state guideline for schools. A child should be potty trained (or
close) to be enrolled in pre-school. We will have the following classes
for pre-school.
Tues, Wed, Thurs. 3 year olds
Tues – Thurs. 3 year olds
Tues. – Thurs. 4 year olds
Pre-school
classes meet from 9:00 – 12:00 noon.
Extended care will be offered
on Tues., Wed., Thurs. from 12:00 – 5:30 p.m.
There is a $10.00 charge for each extended day.
MOTHER’S DAY OUT
Mother’s
Day Out will offer the following classes in 2007 – 2008
Younger
2’s 18 months – 2 years (Wed. & Thurs.)
Older 2’s 2
l/2 – 3 years (Wed. & Thurs.)
All classes will be held from
9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
The
classes will be assigned according to the ages of the children enrolled by Aug.
15.
A child
who will be three years old by Sept. 1 should be enrolled in pre-school.
There are extenuating circumstances in which we will permit a 3 year old to
attend Mother’s Day Out. We will be happy to discuss the options with
you.
NOTE:
If registration indicates a need, other classes could be added to pre-school
and/or Mother’s Day Out.
